Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities may include:
- All learning spaces are fitted with interactive whiteboards and wireless internet connectivity.
- Science Laboratories: Two fully equipped laboratories provide students with the opportunity to conduct hands-on investigations and experiments using a variety of equipment, including data loggers, telescopes, electronic scales, and video microscopes.
- Visual Arts and Photography: Facilities include tools and equipment for sculpture, painting, printing, and ceramics, including a kiln. Photography students have access to a darkroom stocked with traditional wet photography tools, as well as a collection of digital cameras.
- Music: The music department features class sets of keyboards and guitars, a full concert band instrument inventory, and industry-standard performance and sound equipment.
- Industrial Arts: Students develop practical skills using a range of industry-standard machinery and tools, including wood and metal lathes, band saws, MIG, stick, and oxy/acetylene welders, pedestal drills, milling machines, brobo saw, disc sanders, bench grinders, and various hand tools.
- Food Technology: Our state-of-the-art, industry-standard kitchen includes a combi oven, commercial dishwasher, slicer, robot coupe, mixer, and espresso machine.
- Technology: Students use advanced tools such as 3D printers and robotics kits to develop solutions to real-world problems.
- STEM: Room 4 has been transformed from a generic computer lab into a project-based Makerspace. It is equipped with a variety of technologies and specialised equipment to support cross-curricular learning and enable students to design and create prototypes. Available technologies include 3D printers, desktop computers, laptops, Lego EV3 Mindstorm robots, Ozobot Evo robots, Makeblock mBots, Micro:Bit inventor kits, and LittleBits electronic inventor kits.
- Agriculture: Students gain authentic animal husbandry skills through hands-on work with livestock, plants, environmental management, and machinery.
- Computer Laboratories: Two computer labs, each housing over 20 computers and a class printer, support digital learning.
- Library: Our library offers an extensive fiction collection, audio books, non-fiction titles, magazine subscriptions, audio-visual resources, laptops, desktop computers, and video-conferencing facilities.
- Sporting Facilities: The school boasts two ovals—one featuring a synthetic cricket pitch—basketball and netball courts, athletics equipment, team sports facilities, gymnastics equipment, table tennis, a rock climbing wall, and darts.
- Hall: Equipped with a professional sound and lighting system, including spotlights, remote-operated curtains, a large performance area, audio-visual manipulation tools, a smoke machine, data projector for visual presentations, and wireless internet connectivity.
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
